EMO How to Join
  Who can apply for membership

The following non-profit legal persons can apply for membership:

  • legal persons that represent authors and/or composers and/or publishers;
  • legal persons that represent performing artists;
  • legal persons that represent record and/or video producers;
  • legal persons whose object is to represent, defend and promote the interests of creative and cultural industries in the music sector.



  Ordinary Members

Ordinary Members are eligible to act as a Director on the Board and have full voting rights at the General Assembly.

 

 

Ordinary members pay an annual membership fee in an amount decided by the Board of Directors, according to following criteria:

  • the size of the market they represent,
  • the nature of the activities they represent,
  • the economic weight of the activities they represent



  Associate Members

Associate Members have full voting rights at the General Assembly.

 

One Associate Member is elected on the Board.

 

 

Associate members pay a fixed annual membership fee in an amount decided once a year by the Board of Directors and ratified by the General Assembly. The amount of the membership fee may vary between members, provided that the decision is adopted unanimously by the General Assembly.

It carries out the international promotional activities of the Catalan Institute for the Cultural Industries (ICIC), which aims to give more visibility to the promotion of Catalan culture industries.
