  Managing Director Position (EN) [job]


The Luxembourg Export Office For Music, a not-for-profit organization, is looking to hire a Managing Director (M/F)

The organization supports and promotes nationally and internationally the activities and works of musicians operating in Luxemburg. The organization also participates in events which help to promote Luxemburgish music.

Required skills are:

- A very good knowledge of the Luxemburg music scene and the international music business, especially regarding popular music
- A degree to MA level in business or cultural management and/or extensive experience in management and leadership in the music field
- Ability to develop an artistic programme and a business plan for music:LX
- Good knowledge of the cultural, social and economic contexts pertaining in Luxemburg and in Europe
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in French, English and German. The ability to speak Luxemburgish would be an advantage
- Good IT skills
- A clear sense of responsibility, the ability to work well as part of a team, openness to other points of view, and an understanding of human resources and financial management.

Managing Director (M/F)


L'association a pour but le soutien et la promotion au plan national et au plan international de l'activité et de l'oeuvre de musiciens et d'ensembles musicaux évoluant au Grand-Duché du Luxembourg et qui témoignent d'une activité réguliére.

L'association a aussi pour objet la participation á des manifestations permettant d'assurer le rayonnement de la production, la création et l'interprétation musicale luxembourgeoise.

Compétences générales attendues: 
- trés bonnes connaissances de la scéne musicale luxembourgeoise et internationale, notamment dans le domaine des musiques amplifiées 
- diplome universitaire de quatre années (Bac + 4) en sciences humaines, gestion et entreprise, management culturel et/ou expérience confirmée de direction et de gestion dans le domaine musical
- capacité d'élaborer un projet artistique et de gestion pour music:LX  bonne connaissance des réalites culturelles, sociales et économiques du pays et en Europe
- excellente capacité de communication, d'expression et de rédaction en francais, anglais et allemand: la maitrise du luxembourgeois sera considérée comme un avantage
- maitrise des outils informatiques courants
- sens aigu des responsabilités, capacité de travail en équipe, capacité d'écoute, gestion des ressources humaines et financiéres
